Call it the rise of the female rappers as Iggy Azalea won the award for the best rap album of the year yesterday at the AMV's. She beat the rap god Eminem and Drake to claim the award. Bukwild da ikwerrian said that he is the most popular artiste in Port Harcourt this evening on Cool Fm's The Road Show. Bukwild is set to drop his album this saturday at The Autograph. Interesting things were said during the interview and the most interesting to me was that he(Bukwild) does not drink or smoke to do his music. This came as a shock to me as i wondered what on earth would make BET even want to shut down their top music/variety show "106 and Park" after fourteen years on air. As unbelievable as this sounds, it is true. This was confirmed in a press statement by BET president Stephanie Hill. She said that the show would air its last episode on 19th December 2014, thereafter it would become "digital only" “It’s been a great 14-year run as America’s top music/variety show on cable. And now that very valuable brand is going to take its talents to the digital realm.
